The Laura Mulvey Monument comprises an inflatable sculpture approximately 1400cm x 1000cm, supported by an illuminated onyx plinth.
Thanks to the ingenuity and encouragement of Exeter's head groundskeeper, Mr. Herbert Muldoon, the Monument was finally installed after many delays in the front quad of Exeter College, Oxford, opposite the Bodleian Library, under an agreement with the Fellows which stipulates that the sculpture shall be fully inflated only on Tuesdays and Thursdays during fall and winter terms, and only on Sundays in June, July, and August.
